       Anyone else having issues with scaner tool saying softwear Not authorized and Not being able to use scaner tool? I have not updated in a while, about 6 months. I used it Friday and it was fine, used it Saturday and just saying software not authorized when you try and pick vehicle manufacturer. Support, a little help here please

     Is that doing with all manufacturers software or its only for some vehicles.............? Have tried using it on any other vehicles to see if it will work on some vehicles.............

    As for your case, may we know what error code did you receive? It is becasue you failed to get the aurthorization. So please re-download all the software again.

    I had the same problem and I got it solved by updating VCI unit via USB cable.
    Firmware of the bluetooth module was too old. After updating this I got access to main

    software update page. Hope this would help you.

     support,  no error code, just says software is not authorized, and now today it keeps saying unfortunately maxisys has stopped, after i hit update later.
